I joined University at Buffalo as a Visiting Scholar!

I am happy to share that I joined the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department of University at Buffalo as a visiting scholar. I’d like to thank to Professor Rajan Batta and the department for their invitation, and corresponding UB staff for their support throughout the process. I am very excited about this opportunity.

I was a visiting Ph.D. student at the same department during 2019. I had great time during my stay. We published two research papers with Professor Rajan Batta from the studies we conducted during this visit. I made very good friends that I still keep in touch with. Now a new adventure begins. I am very excited for returning to the same department as a faculty member with a Ph.D. degree. I hope I can collaborate well with my new colleagues, and contribute to science and practice well.

PS: This is a temporary position and once I complete my research visit, I will return to my permanent position at Hacettepe University.

Buffalo Üniversitesi Endüstri ve Sistem Mühendisliği Bölümüne misafir öğretim üyesi olarak katıldığımı sizlerle paylaşmaktan mutluluk duyuyorum. Profesör Rajan Batta’ya ve bölüme beni davet ettikleri için, ilgili UB personeline de süreç boyunca verdikleri destek için teşekkür ederim.

Aynı bölümde 2019 yılı boyunca ziyaretçi doktora öğrencisi olarak bulunmuştum. Kaldığım süre boyunca harika zaman geçirdim. Bu ziyaret sırasında yaptığımız çalışmalardan Profesör Rajan Batta ile iki araştırma makalesi yayınladık. Hala iletişim halinde olduğum çok iyi arkadaşlar edindim. Şimdi yeni bir macera başlıyor. Doktora derecesine sahip bir öğretim üyesi olarak aynı bölüme geri döndüğüm için çok heyecanlıyım. Umarım yeni meslektaşlarımla iyi bir işbirliği içinde olabilirim ve bilime ve pratik uygulamalara katkıda bulunabilirim.

Not: Bilginize, bu geçici bir pozisyon ve araştırma ziyaretimi tamamladıktan sonra Hacettepe Üniversitesi’ndeki kalıcı pozisyonuma geri döneceğim.
